Ingredients
A handful of fir and spruce needles
1cinnamon stick
2star anise
5cloves
2peppercorns
2green cardamoms
2cmpiece of fresh ginger
400mlwater
Honey to taste
Instructions
Rinse the fir needles well.
Roughly chop the ginger.
Place all the other spices in a mortar and lightly pound them.
Place all the spices into a saucepan and heat them for a couple of minutes, in order to release the flavor from the spices.
Pour the water on the spices (careful, it may sprinkle), cover with a lid and let it boil for 10 minutes or longer if you desire an even more intense flavor.
