half a teaspoon of vanilla sugar or some drops of vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Cinnamon pear jam:
3 pears
half a teaspoon of lemon juice
cinnamon to taste
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
Preparation
For the porridge:
Pour the water in a saucepan and bring it to shimmer
Add the rice and let it boil for few minutes
Add the milk, the vanilla and the salt while mixing
Cook on a low heat for 45 minutes stirring every once and a while**
For the jam:
Clean, peel and cute the pears
Place the pears, the lemon juice and the cinnamon in a saucepan and smash the pears with a fork
Bring to boiling point and boil for few minutes
Add the chia seeds
Put the jam in a clean jar and let it cool
Notes
* For a dairy free version substitute the milk with oat or almond milk ** Keep the porridge covered, but be careful because the milk could suddenly rise up and flood your stove ;)
